Our Story
The Old Vine opened in 1978 when Vincent Moreau arrived from Lyon with a single suitcase and a list of producers his grandfather had trusted for forty years.
Today his daughter Claire runs the shop with the same philosophy: no scores, no hype, no wine you wouldn't serve at your own table. If it's on the shelf, we've tasted it and we'd buy it ourselves.
We stock roughly 400 bottles at any time — enough to be interesting, small enough that we know every one.
