We are here to make changes to your site whenever you need it but sometimes you just want to make a small copy tweak yourself or automatically rebuild the site using info from something like google sheets (like if you wanted to keep your site up-to-date with your latest menu and pricing).

Yes and no. Ideally the answer is yes - if we can point your domain to our servers we can more effectively host your content. This is the norm and is the preferred way we partner with our customers because it allows us to have the best impact.
However, we can still work together even if you can't point your domain at us as long as you can still update your own website and make some changes. From there we can embed content we develop together like forms, menus, blogs, or whatever you dream up. There are some limitations but definitely reach out and ask because we're pretty good at making things work.
Of course you always retain ownership of your domain; we just want to point it at our servers while we're hosting your content.

That is great! We can take what is already on the web, mix in our special sauce, and get it online quickly and easily. You don't even need access to the source project (this is often how 'cheap' web dev shops screw you over by locking you in to their code or not letting you have access) - we can scrape what is publicly available and go from there with your guidance.
We'll be sad to see you go but we understand! We'll always be ready to give you the full html source code for your website whenever you need it; we'll even help you migrate to another provider if that is what you need.
For custom tools or services we develop together, it is a little more complicated. If it is something we can easily hand off to you we will but many things aren't a good fit for that and will need to remain with us. If we're doing special development work together we can talk about this up front so there are no unpleasant surprises.
We are software engineers, not designers, so we're good at making things work not deciding how they look. Our best output comes when you give us already designed HTML and we can take it from there.
